A working Luanti client in Python

I finally succeeded in building a working Luanti client in Python. I couldn't run Anjin-san using the standard Luanti client because its interface is designed for human users. I needed something highly customizable that I could tinker with to interface directly with the AI. The connection is now successful and stable. It turns out the previous timeout issues were caused socket buffer too small to handle the initial burst of a heavily modded server.

    Some patch made on FreeBSD

I'm glad I can contribute to my favorite server OS. I received this computer some week ago but the sound is not functional out of the box with the FreeBSD, so I tried many fix and adjustment until it works. Now the computer become multimedia computer for playing music, youtube and all in my living room.

Playing music on the computer is priority to me, as I need to play along the music with my musical instruments, some kind of beneficial activity in my free time.

A bit of history and story of Khalid Kingdom

    About King Khalid Kingdom

This server started during the pandemic lockdown as a private space for my family's kids to play and stay connected virtually. Over time, as family members moved on to other things, I decided to open the server to the public.

As an IT professional, this server doubles as my personal sandbox. I use my free time here to practice game management and experiment with tech—including my current project, which involves interfacing AI directly into the game.

A quick heads-up: I’m not actively trying to grow a massive player base, and I don't have the time to deal with bad attitudes. If you're here to play and have fun, welcome! If you cause trouble and I'm the only one online, I will resort to swift bans or jails. Don't worry though—our server's Shoguns, Daimyos, and Samurais are around and happy to support you.

Because of its history with my family, this server has massive sentimental value. King Khalid Kingdom is here to stay permanently. Enjoy your stay!

I'm not new with FreeBSD, i have been using it long ago, only i used it for server purpose, as example a Network Attached Storage.

.. i dont know what to write anymore lol. this is just to fill the empty space.

After a week of running the server, I officially declare that we have successfully migrated our server from the Linux operating system to FreeBSD. We also successfully migrated the database from SQLite to PostgreSQL.

Since the process was not that simple, I took the time and updated the server to the latest version 5.16.1. I found that the server performance has become more stable and efficient, lesser lags too.
